We would like to remind you that the story comments are subject to a few common-sense guidelines. For your benefit, and the benefit of those new to the site, we’ve now made those guidelines readily accessible in a new Welcome page (find it by clicking HERE or look under Features on the right-hand sidebar).
Going forward, we will no longer be tolerating even mildly abusive comments — as always, you are free to say you don’t like a story, but surely such intelligent writers and readers as we have in our community can express what doesn’t work in a piece without resorting to insults and ridicule.
Also going forward, remarks about EDF’s editorial policies and general story selection should be directed to the Letters to the Editor and Site Suggestions section of our forums. Let’s keep the story discussion focused on the story, please.
