Saturday, January 30, 2010 — Anthology Launch Party

We are pleased to invite everyone to the launch of The Best of Every Day Fiction Two on Saturday, January 30, 2010, here in Vancouver, Canada.

Talk Flash With Us

If you’re interested in being a part of a serious professional conversation about flash fiction, we hope you’ll join us for a ticketed lunch and roundtable discussion from noon to 2pm at the beautiful Kingston Tap House and Grill. This event is chiefly intended for writers and others involved in the industry (e.g., editors, publishers, agents, reviewers, etc.), but we welcome anyone with an interest in flash fiction and ideas to contribute.

Tickets are $26.50 each, and include a delicious lunch — your choice of Kung Pao Chicken, Teriyaki Salmon Burger, Pesto Chicken Fettuccine, or Margharita Pizza, followed by Double Chocolate Cake and coffee or tea.

Online ticket sales are now closed, but a few seats are still available if you wish to purchase tickets at the door.

Reading & Signing

The main event will take place at the Cedar Cottage Coffee House (1303 Kingsway, Vancouver) from 4pm to 7pm. Readings are scheduled to start at 5pm. Featured authors include Fred Warren and Andrew Boden.

Book sales will be cash only, but there is an ATM on the premises.

After-Party

After the formal part of the day is done, we’re looking forward to an after-party back at the Kingston.

Accommodation

We’d absolutely love it if you could join us for this special event! If you’re visiting from out of town, we highly recommend The Kingston Hotel as a pleasant and economical option for accommodation, and they will try to place all our bookings in one part of the hotel, so please do mention that you’re here for the EDF event when you book your stay.
