		<description>I will concur with all the other laudatory posts, and agree that you succeeded in putting us into the room and into the daughter's head. Previous commenters who have undergone this kind of situation say they intimately related; for someone like myself who has not (yet) experienced such a trauma firsthand, it expands our perspective, giving us a small inkling of what such an ordeal is like. Rang true throughout--the verisimilitude of the piece makes me also suspect you write from firsthand experience here. (If not, you fooled me.)</description>
