It was even harder this year to narrow down a list of 100 stories for inclusion in our second anthology, covering September 1, 2008 to August 31, 2009.

After much discussion (and some heated arguments), we've decided to change the title from the year to simply TWO (and next year's will be THREE, and so on) to extend the shelf life of each book and not have it feel dated by midway through the following year.

Congratulations to everyone on the list!

I can't wait to read this - it already has a spot reserved for it on my book shelf - right next to EDF ONE.  Grin

I was so honored to be included in this anthology.  There were some tremendous stories this year.  I've been following EDF since discovering the site in March ('09) and I do recommend it to friends/family and to other writers as a great place to have your stories read by a reliable audience.

I hope the site and the anthologies continue to grow and succeed.

I got my antho(s) today.  They are very handsome books.  Thank you for the time and effort that went into such an attractive presentation for the stories.

Jordan, your forward answered some of the questions I had about EDF and flash publishing in general.  I came away with even more respect for your magazine and your efforts.

Camille, your forward should be required reading for everyone before the comment on the stories posted on EDF.  Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but it should at least be an informed opinion.  The wars over what is or isn't a story grow stale.

Steven, keep believing in the the podcasts.  Once people learn where to find them, they'll start visiting in droves.  A little story-time during the morning commute is a welcome break from the news.  Thank you for the tips for making my own effort better.

Looking forward to working with everyone in 2010.
