Christmas Eve and this morning my husband took delivery of a box of EDF Anthologies.  We opened it together with the excitement and delight of children ripping into their presents.  He's incredibly pleased to see his wife acknowledged in a real book. And I'm bursting with pride for the EDF team and all the writers who have made this anthology possible.  May it be the first of many. Congratulations everyone! Smiley

Customer reviews are welcome at Amazon and the more the antho gets, the higher it will hopefully go in the Amazon ranking.  We all want this to be a huge success.  For ourselves of course but also for the BIG THREE: Jordan, Camille, and Steven.  They've give so much of their time to get this thing out there, they've got three darn good essays in the front, and well, we've all got to pull together.

I don't know much about any of this but we've got a ton of us who've Christmas gifted this and maybe there's one or two out there who might comment if you ask.  My sister says she'd done it, but it hasn't shown up yet. Of course I did ask her review the collection not just me.  She is after all a little prejudice.

Absolutely, and in fact, any reviews/ratings/recommendations anywhere are welcome and appreciated.

are any bookstores going to sell this?
We hope so! Any bookstore can order it in, but the trick is convincing them to do so. Usually a bookstore that hosts a reading/signing will also put a few copies on their shelves; Spartacus Books (where we're holding the Vancouver launch party) has already told us that they'd like some. If a bookstore gets a lot of requests (i.e., people coming in and asking for it), they might decide to bring in a few extra copies for the shelves as well as the copies special-ordered by customers. There's also the chance that bookstore buyers will see it in the distributor's catalogue and think it looks worth ordering. And an author's local bookstore might be willing to stock a couple of copies if asked. The large chains are harder to get into, since their ordering decisions are made by a head office rather than someone in the store, but there's always the possibility.

I received my softcover yesterday.  It is gorgeous.  I don't think I'll open the hardcover.

But I've been reading through this lovely antho, and I have to say, it's really nice to be able to read these stories in print.  I like it a lot.  I'll re-read them more this way, I'm sure.

Your intros were excellent.

I love it, I love it, and I'm happy to be a part of it.

Thanks once again, Every Day Fiction.

I agree!!! The book is beautiful and I have enjoyed holding it in my hands and reading all of it. I am so happy to be a part of this and I have gotten a tremendous response from friends and family who jumped on line to order copies. Thanks again. Great job EDF!
