Podcasting the fiction released on this website is the next logical step, as is increasing the payment and beginning a poetry service. We all realize that not all people can physically read, so podcasting offers a hands-free and eyes-free approach. Just think of how much safer subscribers will be if they don't have to visually read a flash story while conveying to and from home. :D If you are serious about podcasting, then I recommend that you chat to Evo Terra and Tee Morris about it. You might also consider releasing flash fiction as podcast anthologies via the Podiobooks website, which they are co-founders of. If you are on a tight budget, then I might be able to direct you to places to download affordable royalty-free music, bumpers and stings. Feel free to email me if you are interested.

I have a few links for some background music if you guys are on a tight budget: -
http://incompetech.com/m/c/royalty-free/ is a neat place to find attribution-based music. Downloads are free to begin with, but, you can remove the attribution for about $US5. There is a good selection of nice music, and Kevin, the composer, takes requests. Big Kahuna production stuff costs however.
http://www.freesoundtrackmusic.com/ I just found this website, and although there are only a few 'freebies' there is a fee-based subscription service for more downloads, sold in 3-month allotments.
There are a lot of royalty-free music download websites that I could list, but downloads and licensing can get expensive.

Evo Terra and Tee Morris can give some more information regarding the technical side of podcasting, and I highly recommend that you guys have a chat to them. You might even consider releasing some of the flash fiction in podcasted anthologies, releasing them on podiobooks for some more exposure, to save some bandwidth, and web space. Feel free to email me if you have any queries.

EDF rocks it.

I'm with G. (Congrats, Andrew!)

I'm absolutely excited about the podcasting. I don't know if thanks are yet due to me, but definitely they are to Jordan and Camille, and to STEVEN who's setting all of it up. There will be more on that soon. Very cool that there's so many returns on podcasting rights so far.
