Debotri Dhar holds a Masters in Women’s Studies from the University of Oxford, UK, and is an Excellence Doctoral Fellow in Women’s and Gender Studies at Rutgers University, USA. Debotri divides her time between the rather-serious terrain of academic feminism on one hand and creative writing on the other, a balancing act she finds both demanding and delightful. Her fiction has recently appeared in Stacatto, The Copperfield Review, Stepaway Magazine, Asia Writes, Muse India, the anthology Indian Voices, and elsewhere.
