The idea is to draw pictures in the readers minds, and Jason, you certainly do a great job of that.

I want to read more about how she got to this point and what happens after “here”.

I really liked the story after initially feeling that it would be awkward, but it developed quickly. Nice images, nice resolution, nice metaphor.

I agree with almost all the commenters here, the critics and the praisers. J got good feed back here, I think.
