I like Sci-fi, I like music, but I spent most of my reading time waiting for explanations, like who were the other people on the ship if not humans? It was good, but not grabbing. Just when I think I’ve finally grown old enough to call myself ‘mature’, something like this comes along to dispel the illusion. The band names are just staggeringly wonderful; I’m thinking of changing mine to Fourth Ribbon of Metal Fire or Dancing Porcupine Fingers. Thanks for the funnybone tickle.
